Feedback on LoungeList Design?

Ok, I keep messing with the design and, probably, making it much worse. This is not my forté. Anybody have feedback? Is the home page out of control? Do you like it or hate it? Does it matter?

And if you've got an opinion on how the different elements are presented on the front page, let me know.

Plus, I love the Loungelist. I get to connect with people locally and within the means that are best for me. I have wanting to start an organization for a while now and you guys have it made it possible for me to network.
