i'm a full-time adult student at belhaven university finishing up a degree in social services. i'm the president of the jackson area national organization for women (NOW) and the chair of the national NOW technology empowerment team. i have supported or been involved with pretty much every liberal or lgbtq organization in the area at one time or another.

in my "free" time i blog and tweet about feminist, lgbtq, and local interest topics @femmefeminist
i also love the outdoors, hiking & camping; making jewelry; watching films; writing poetry and short stories; dining at locally owned restaurants, and wine.
