- Yes, it's me, Jody. You may have seen me on the news or in the newspapers via my duties as director of Equality Mississippi, the statewide gay and lesbian civil rights organization. Speaking of, I am gay.. since it doesn't give you a sexual orientation option on here to choose. I'm married to a wonderful man, Todd. Of course, that's as married as the law will allow but we did have a wedding ceremony at Camp Sister Spirit in Ovett, Mississippi.
