Hm...change of plans...I'm evidently going to the Tomato Festival in Crystal Springs Saturday. I'll do the 5K that morning. Oh, well. I'll have to just enjoy pictures from the half-mary. Good luck with the cheering contingency!

Oh, right...I heard that there was some sort of contest with the Leukemia society at it. I am not...since I'm planning on doing the half in VA Beach in August. But I may come cheer.

Oh, I didn't know that...very cool that you're working for TNT now. Yeah, I ran it with my friend Ginger...I hadn't really trained much since the full, so we just ran it for fun and didn't really worry about our time or anything. But now I'm working on getting faster.

That blows my mind...congratulations!! I did the half in Nashville last month and am doing the rock 'n roll half in VA Beach in August...and the full Marine Corps in October--I'm excited!

Favorite Local Watering Hole:
Al fresco drinking w/ my dog - Fenian's, Basil's, Pizza Shack, or Soulshine in Madison. Al Fresco w/o the dog - Keifer's or Margarita's. Going out to really drink - Hal & Mal's or Fenian's (it's great inside or out)

LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip, !!!, M.I.A. and much, much more

People don't know that I:
have run 50 miles, plan to run another 50 miler in August and hope to run my first 100 miler in November
About Me:
I live, run, eat and drink in Belhaven with my boyfriend, Gavin, and my dog, Scrabble. I work in Ridgeland and sometimes run the 7 miles to work, just to stick it to the man. I am running a 50 mile ultra-marathon August 2nd to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. More details on the race, my training and fundraisers to come!
