Ladies Seminar- Mother/Daughter Conference at GOD'S Refuge Christian Fellowship Center/Church

June 5, 2010 from 11am to 5pm

Enjoy a day of Enlightment, Understanding, and Fun. The Ladies of GOD'S Refuge CFCC will be hosting a FREE Ladies Seminar for Mothers and Daughters. All ages are welcome. We will have four guest speakers to speak on Christian based principles and solutions for maintaining strong bond with our daughters even spiritual daughters. Annual Community Picnic at GOD'S Refuge CFCC

October 17, 2009 from 11am to 7pm

Pastor Dennis O. Watson and First Lady Viola Watson would like to invite you to join us Saturday with good food, good music, and good conversation all in the name of JESUS. We will have fun and games for the kids and musical entertainment. There will be guest speakers as well as performances from our own Dance Ministry. The 5th and 15th of Januray, the Jackson Arts Collective and the Jackson Progressives are hosting community conversations regarding plans for the arts in 2008 and how to further integrate Jackson arts into our politics and our economy. At 8:35pm on September 14, 2008, daniel johnson said…: i'm not sure what you are working on presently, but i'm sure that we should be connected. i work with a few organizations. i'm on the Board at our local grocery cooperative Rainbow. i am the Moderator for the Jackson Arts Collective which strives to connect artists with opportunities and each other. i also organize spontaneous creation events with the Mississippi Improv Alliance. i have worked with kids in a variety of arenas and sincerely believe that the earlier you can introduce children to creative thought and activity, the more empowered they will become in relation to their community.

Yeh, I do strive for positive change especially here in Jackson. Its really a broad aspect in several ways, starting at home...positive influence left on those younger (or even older) ones who are watching us, dedication to the education of students and more motivation in the school systems for these young people to show their talents and show who they are without feeling as if they will or will not be accepted by being in a certain category. Promoting individuality...more where that came from. Just let me know. It is good to see and interact with people who want positive change. Unified anything is possible.....
