Alcorn Jazz Festival

Year in, Year Out The Alcorn Jazz Festival has brought some Top Tier names to Mississippi. This year is no different. The Festival for the first times features an all female ensemble of musicians.

Esperanza Spalding - Bass and Vocals
Terri Lyn Carrington - Drums
Grace Kelly - Alto Sax
Dee Dee Bridgewater - Vocals
Geri Allen - Piano

I'm pretty amped about the line up, because its an All Star Cast. Spaulding, Kelly (who's only about 14 or 15 or so), Bridgewater, Carrington, Allen...

Should be nice. It's going to be held April 18 along side Riverfest in Vicksburg
