I've used my Canon Rebel XT for almost 3 years now, and love it. I currently use a 17-85mm IS USM lens and a 70-200mm L lens.

I also use Zazzle to sell poster prints of my photos.

As far as online storing goes..I am a huge fan of Flickr. You can use it for free, but if you sign up for a Pro account, your photos are stored in their original format.

i've mostly been shooting film for i don't know how many years, but recently got a digital SLR (pentax K100D) so i've been getting used to using that too

think i still like film better though ;)

as for photo storage, like amanda, i like flickr

If you're looking at the 40d, check out the Rebel XSi -fantastic camera for the money. B&H photo in NYC is the gold standard for equipment shopping, but also check out newegg.com. They will offer great deals on camera equipment. I bought a camera body from them about a year ago and it was the best deal anywhere. Don't forget good lenses, too. They are the best place to invest your money.

currently using an xTi but would love a 40D.......
for equipment i STRONGLY suggest taking a look at fredmiranda.com-great place, people and prices
for online storage, printing etc. take a look at www.instaproofs.com
free and really good-the admin will respond to any questions usually within a few hours

LOL! Long time! I wound up getting a Canon Rebel XTi with a 85mm lens and a 300mm lens. Still using Zazzle for some stuff, but have not updated the poster prints for a while now.
I've started on an online gallery on my own site, but only have one image picked out so far, lol! Its hard to pick from so much stuff!
There are photos that I love, but I don't think average people would find even interesting.
... need to get to work on it.
