Hal & Mal's, or Fenian's Pub both feature live music most nights of the week, and book a pretty wide variety of acts. Martin's if you are mostly into the alt music scene. I can't promise you'll never be hassled, but all of the above are places where people usually go in groups of friends or to hear the bands as compared to clubs that are just about hooking up.
