Pickin & Paddlin Outdoor Festival

Activities include: Canoe and Kayak Races, a 5K Trail Run, 1K FunRun and music from local and regional bluegrass, cajun, old time, jazz and other Americana musicians.
There is also always plenty of pickin’, so bring an instrument and join us in the pickers tent. Musical acts over the past 3 years have included: The Scramblers, Rhonda Richmond, The Freighthoppers, The Mayhem String Band, The Delta Mountain Boys, The Vernon Brothers and The Jackson Jug Revival.

BBQ plate lunches are provided by Chimneyville Smokehouse to all in attendance. Children 12 and under get in free (and can enjoy free BBQ and children’s activities including: a 24 ft rock wall, face painting, games and prizes!)
